Examination & Assessment Policy
St. Arnold's Central School follows the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system as mandated by CBSE for Classes I to VIII, and the regular board examination pattern for Classes IX and X.
Assessment Structure
Classes I to VIII (CCE Pattern)
- Formative Assessments (FA): 40% weightage — includes class tests, projects, assignments, and oral tests
- Summative Assessments (SA): 60% weightage — written examinations held twice a year
Classes IX & X (Board Pattern)
- Internal Assessment: 20% — practicals, projects, and periodic tests
- Board Examination: 80% — conducted by CBSE
